Data Solutions Analyst II_Pipeline

Purpose of the role

Over 23 million people bank with us. The data that powers every decision behind that – from product design to credit risk to client experience – needs to be clean, trusted and built to scale. That's where you come in. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll have a direct say in how our data warehouse grows, shape architectural decisions and work with senior stakeholders to turn complex business questions into reliable data that teams across our entire organisation can act on. You'll also lead a Community of Practice, bringing data practitioners together to share knowledge and raise standards across the business. We work openly, we move fast and we trust people who know their craft. What you'll do

• Define how data is structured, sourced and stored – so that one trusted set of data powers many different teams and tools across our business
• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand what they need, then turn those needs into clear data requirements and well-documented solutions
• Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria and coordinate delivery across development and quality assurance teams
• Lead test plans, validate transformation logic and drive defect resolution – so that what gets built is exactly what was agreed
• Define and maintain data quality rules, engage governance processes and make sure issues get resolved, not just reported
• Build relationships across multiple business areas and adapt how you communicate depending on who's in the room

Education (Minimum)

What we looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

• 5–10 years in business and data analysis, translating requirements into technical specifications
• At least 5 years working across teams, leading data capability initiatives in large-scale data environments

Technical skills

• Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation and transformation logic
• Experience with dimensional modelling, star and snowflake schemas, and fact and dimension tables
• Ability to read and contribute to logical and conceptual data models, and document metadata with full traceability
• Working knowledge of data warehouse and Lakehouse concepts, including data ingestion, ETL processes, data marts and reporting

Ways of working

• Comfortable writing user stories and coordinating development and QA teams through full delivery cycles
• Experienced in Agile methodologies and project management
• Confident communicator who works equally well with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinker with commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving
