About the role
To develop and execute business improvement, development and optimisation strategies for the Collections and Recoveries division impacting Retail and Business Bank, aligning to the Credit strategy. Translate into an operating model for the department, aggregating collections and recoveries related business challenges, problems and opportunities across Retail Bank and Business Bank and driving technology and business solutioning to improve the Bank’s collections and recovery performance and rates.
Minimum Experience
- 10+ years of experience in collections, recoveries, business development, or a similar role within the financial services industry with responsibility for managing a team
- A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Data analysis and performance management.
- Process optimization, business analysis, and technology implementation.
- Stakeholder management including C suite.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance

- Expert understanding of collections and recoveries processes, regulations, and best practices.
