Purpose Statement

To deliver business and client value, and enhance client engagement through:

  • Executing the Client Engagement (CE) strategy within a dedicated business portfolio
  • Managing the development and implementation of client engagement campaigns, programmes, and prompts across the client engagement lifecycle
  • Acting as a strategic partner to business stakeholders through close collaboration and co-location
  • Driving consistent, data-informed client engagement initiatives within a single, focused portfolio
  • Contributing subject matter expertise towards the continuous improvement of client engagement strategies

Experience

Minimum:

Proven experience in:

  • Client engagement, CRM, and lifecycle marketing
  • Data analysis, client profiling, and segmentation
  • Campaign management and execution
  • Digital marketing and e-commerce
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience
  • Experience working closely with business units to translate strategy into execution
  • Experience operating in structured environments with repeatable processes and long-term portfolio ownership

Ideal:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a large, complex, client-focused organisation
  • Industry experience in:
    • Banking (preferred), OR
    • FMCG / Retail (advantageous)
  • Experience in an agency environment (Account Director level) managing banking or retail clients
  • Proven experience delivering CRM strategies leveraging platforms such as Salesforce (Marketing Cloud / Data Cloud advantageous)
  • Previous people management experience

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Management

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • A relevant post-graduate qualification in Marketing or Business Management

  • Banking products and client ecosystems within the Capitec environment
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Data Cloud capabilities and applications
  • Understanding of embedded client engagement within business portfolios
