Why this role exists
We are growing the way our systems work together, and we need a Systems Analyst who can step back, seethe full picture and design solutions that make sense end to end. This role exists to turn complex businessneeds into clear, well‑structured system designs that teams can confidently build and support.
What you’ll do
- Design system solutions that fit into a wider technology landscape and support real business outcomes
- Break complex requirements into clear, structured components that development teams can easily implement.
- Translate technical concepts into diagrams, documentation and explanations that others can understand and use.
- Work closely with developers, engineers and business partners to refine solutions and resolve system issues.
- Review delivered solutions to ensure they align with the original design and make adjustments where needed.

We work in a systems and integration environment that supports high‑volume, business‑critical platforms. Ourteam partners closely with development and operations teams, playing a key role in shaping how systemsconnect, scale and evolve. What we’re looking for
- Several years’ experience in systems analysis or solution design
- A background in software development or engineering, with a strong understanding of how code works
- Proven ability to design system flows, integrations and solution diagrams
- Experience working with complex, integrated systems
- Solid knowledge of databases, web technologies and system interfaces
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to explain ideas clearly
- Experience in regulated or large‑scale environments is an advantage
Experience
Minimum:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (Computer Science or Information Systems)
- 5–8 years’ experience in Systems Design and Analysis
- Exposure to complex system integrations
- Strong understanding of development environments (background in software engineering advantageous)At least 1–2 years of telco experience (advantageous)Ideal:
Technical Skills:
- SQL
- Transact-SQL
- Web Services
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Exposure to Java (advantageous, not mandatory)
Certifications such as AWS are beneficial but not mandatory.
Ideal Experience & Tools:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Exposure to automation tools
- Working knowledge of Java and/or C#
Qualifications (Minimum)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- Certification in ITIL
Knowledge
Minimum:
- Knowledge and understanding of:
- Functional knowledge of the respective area
- Systems analysis methodologies
- Defining functional and non-functional requirements
- Documentation including assistance with drafting documents for technical requirements and training purposes
- Where applicable for the functional area:
- SQL (e.g. My SQL and Microsoft SQL)
- API integration (e.g. web services, REST Services, SOAP, etc)
Ideal:
- Knowledge and understanding of:
- ITIL Principles and the application thereof
- Automation tools
- Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
- Project Management and coordination
- Banking systems and business models
- Card Processing
- Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
- Jira and Confluence
- Where applicable for the functional area:
- Programming and programming languages, enabling troubleshooting and escalation where required to Software Engineers. Could include:
