Purpose Statement

To provide accurate, compliant information and guidance on insurance products, understanding client needs and advising them on how to optimise their life insurance portfolio with the overall aim of delivering exceptional service, resolving client queries efficiently and fostering longterm loyalty.

To meet service delivery standards, achieve performance targets, engage clients in valueled conversations and support team effectiveness.

Education (Minimum)

  • FAIS accredited as Key Individual and approved by FSCA
  • Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5)

Education (Ideal or Preferred)

    Knowledge and Experience

     

    Experience:

    • 2–3 years’ experience in financial services such as banking, insurance, retail, or a client service environment; and/or internally, 15–24 months at Agent I level.
    • Client service and/or function‑relevant experience (e.g., client care, insurance, collections) advantageous.
    • Experience in an  SLA, quality standards and performance targets driven environment..
    • Experience conducting needs‑based, value‑led conversations, working with client profiling, identifying opportunities and managing full follow‑through.
    • Executing / displaying the following in a work environment:
        • conduct needs‑based, value‑led client conversations (not script‑only).
        • work with client segmentation and profiling to tailor offers, advice, and engagement.
        • identify and convert opportunities (cross‑sell, up‑sell, retention saves).
        • follow‑through: ability to log, track, and close client actions end‑to‑end.
        • customer‑centric mindset with a focus on client retention and long‑term loyalty.

    Knowledge:

    • Comprehensive understanding of client interaction and relationship management practices and principles
    • Understanding of client management information, systems and tools.
    • Understanding of conflict management principles
    • Deep Insurance Product knowledge
    • Consultative/needs-based selling
    • Active listening, questioning frameworks, empathy, and rapport.
    • Personalization using profile, preferences, and history
