Purpose Statement

  • The successful incumbent will be expected to maximise recoveries from External Debt Collectors (EDCs) by the monitoring, reporting and co-ordination of an allocated group (5 – 6) of EDCs.
  •  Acting as liason between Capitec and external Debt Collectors as well as consulting with Legal Advisors. 
  • This role require successful administration function and efficient query resolution to clients and third parties. 

Experience

Minimum/Ideal:

  • 2 years’ experience in collections & recovery background

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    Knowledge

    Minimum/Ideal:

    • General awareness and understanding of the basic service/contact centre skills and knowledge
    • General office and information systems 
    • Client service principles

    • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
