Purpose Statement
- To administer daily Exchange Control Balance of Payments (BOP) Reporting administration thereby ensuring effective compliance and the reporting of all cross border transactions processed within the Treasury Operations environment and the bank.
Experience
Minimum:
- At least 1 year in exchange control BOP reporting environment
- Holding accountability for regulatory compliance in an exchange control environment
Ideal:
- BOP reporting knowledge and Typing skills
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- National Diploma in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Accounting - Management Accounting
Knowledge
Minimum:
- Good knowledge of legislation including SA Reserve Exchange Control regulations and rulings
- Sound Knowledge of BOP reporting formats for various types of transactions
- Knowledge and understanding of the FIC
- Good knowledge of SARB reporting requirements.
- The general treasury/exchange/banking environment
- Client service principles and standards
- Stakeholder engagement practices
Ideal:
- Sound knowledge of internal Business Bank policies and procedures
