About the role:
The role of the Business Analyst (BA) in this team focuses on performing business analysis with an emphasis on data. This includes optimizing business efficiencies through automation, digital, information, and communications technologies by systematically analysing and defining business requirements and functional specifications. The incumbent will develop and design solutions, ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement for both business and existing application solutions.
The BA will be responsible for defining business requirements, business rules, and business activities for systems within the credit space of our business banking. They will work closely with a process engineer and a system support analyst, reporting directly to the product manager.
The position offers significant opportunities for growth and the chance to make a substantial impact on the bank's collections and recoveries processes.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, IT, Information Systems OR related
- Knowledge understanding and utilization of Salesforce. (Certified in Salesforce preferred)
- At least 5 – 7 years’ proven experience within Business Analysis, information systems, business intelligence or data warehousing environments
- Able to perform data analysis and determine the impact on broader organisational frameworks and objectives
- Experience in Business Analysis using various techniques to describe business needs e.g. conceptual model, ERD, Test Cases, Data Flows, UML models, Data Dictionary, Business processes flows, etc.
- Conceptual Data modelling
- Understanding of the concepts of data visualisation
