Purpose Statement
Lead the effective implementation of the Quality Assurance plan within the Capitec Intuitive and Acquisition Credit assessment frameworks, and standards across a business unit in Capitec.
Experience
Min/Ideal:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, policy development, or assurance functions within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Risk Management
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Knowledge
Min/Ideal:
- Deep understanding of credit risk management frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and combined assurance models.
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles.
- Understanding of internal audit processes, risk control frameworks (and assurance standards.
- Awareness of banking regulations and financial services industry standards.
