Purpose Statement

Provide support to the financial, credit and regulatory reporting functions through modelling and forecasting of bad debt.

Experience

Min:

  • 1 year experience in analytical role in dynamic, mathematically complex environment

Ideal:

  • 2+ years experience in analytical role in dynamic, mathematically complex environment
  • Regular exposure to members of the Executive Committee

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • National Certificate in Grade 12 National Certificate
  • A relevant degree in Statistics

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • A relevant post graduate degree in Statistics

Knowledge

Ideal:

Knowledge and understanding of:

  • Provisioning for bad and doubtful debts as per IAS39 and IFRS9
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Advanced statistical analysis
  • Advanced financial mathematics
