Purpose Statement

To improve claims operational excellence, increase customer satisfaction, minimize losses for Capitec Insurance through accurate and holistic assessment of non-medical claims, including but not limited to Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance claims ) in accordance with terms and conditions of the policy, S.A legislative frameworks and goals, objectives, processes and standards sets by Capitec Life
Experience
MINIMUM:
- More than 2 years practical experience in Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance Claims Assessment
IDEAL:
- Practical experience on assessment of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance products
- Occupational certificate of course on long-term life Insurance Claims Assessor
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Forensics
Knowledge
MINIMUM:
- Understanding of the long-term insurance industry and claims handling processes and
- Knowledge of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance Products
- Knowlege of relevant legal framework relating to funeral and life insurance claims
IDEAL:
- Practical experience on assessment of Life and Non-Medical Credit Life Insurance products
