About the role:

As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that internal audits add significant value to our organisation. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance with the Internal Audit Charter and International Internal Audit Standards, and providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance. You will also be instrumental in identifying risks, recommending controls, and leveraging technology to optimise the performance of the internal audit function 

What you will bring:

  • A relevant degree in Commerce or Auditing (CA(SA), CIA, CISA) 

  • At least 5 years as an Auditor (within insurance) 

  • Experience in project planning and management 

  • At least 2 years’ managerial experience in managing a team of 2 or more 

Ideally you also have:

  • A further qualification as: CIA, CISA, CA(SA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) / Control Self-Assessments(CCSA) / Data Management (CDM) 

  • Practical experience in data analytics 

  • Practical experience using COSO framework 

  • Practical experience of Basel 3
