About the role:

We're looking for a dynamic, hands-on Audit Manager: Finance and Marketing (Audit Manager) who is passionate about Risk Management and the role of Internal Audit, is curious and eager to understand the underlying processes, systems, risks and controls that support the delivery of the Capitec Strategy.

This role will support the Manager Internal Audit: Shared Services in managing the Shared Service’s Internal Audit Function by contributing to strategic planning, providing technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Audit Manager is responsible for operational management, including scheduling audits, resource allocation, and reviewing audit work, as well as performing audit work from time to time, as required. Further responsibilities include managing the audit team assigned to specific audit engagements, ensuring these audits are completed within budget, on time and to required quality standards, and uses innovation to enhance efficiency. This role will also support stakeholder management by building trust, communicating audit findings, and providing consulting services.

What you will bring:

  • CA (SA)
  • Large organisation experience
  • SAP experience
  • 2 -3 years delivery management experience (including delivery through others)
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Strong analytical (including data analytics), verbal, and abstract reasoning capability
  • Hands-on, curious individual who wants to understand underlying processes, systems, risks and controls
  • Attention to detail and logical in approach
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Deadline-oriented and able to prioritize and self-regulate
