About the role:

The Business Analyst plays a key role in identifying and shaping business needs into clear, actionable solutions by working closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams. This includes gathering and analysing information, documenting business processes, and translating business requirements into functional specifications that guide the delivery of effective solutions.Key responsibilities include:

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and research to define and document current and future business processes.
  • Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure business needs are accurately captured and understood.Acting as a liaison between business teams, technology partners, and product teams to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Supporting the implementation of solutions by validating that business requirements are met, assisting with user testing, and facilitating user acceptance sign-off.
  • Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes or technologies.
  • Assisting in solution selection processes, including support for RFI and RFP activities through the preparation and review of business and technical documentation.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 7+ years working experience as a BA in a wide variety of situations, contexts and complexities.
  • Experience in busines systems ERP solutions, SAP expereince will be advantageous
  • Must be capable in using a variety of techniques and completing business analysis tasks independently
  • Understanding of business process and translating requirements into business processes, context diagrams, visual explanations, etc.
  • Functional and business process design   
  • Communication and translation of information across business and technical environments (Interface between business and Technology)  
  • Design of evidence-based best practice solutions Stakeholder engagement and collaboration   
  • Project Management principles and relevant development lifecycle experience   
  • Agile development lifecycle principles and experience Understanding of systems and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Confluence experience
  • Jira experience  
  • Familiar with the Agile environment
  • Business process mapping

Education (Minimum)

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis
