As a Business Intelligence Analyst III (BI Analyst III) at Capitec Bank, you'll play a pivotal role in leveraging data to solve client and business challenges. Your expertise will drive insights that empower senior decision-makers to make informed choices swiftly. This position holds no direct reports, offering you autonomy and responsibility in your focus area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership and Responsibility: Take charge of allocated focus areas, proposing enhancements to the Business Intelligence Analysis practice. Identify opportunities to add value and foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Management and Delivery: Manage and fulfill business requirements effectively, utilizing relevant tools and methodologies. Build strong relationships to influence and guide in Business Intelligence Analysis.
- Data Insights Delivery: Develop and communicate data-driven insights, utilizing visualizations and storytelling techniques. Continuously refine standards to align with Capitec methodologies.
- Knowledge Sharing and Quality Assurance: Mentor and share best practices with colleagues, ensuring adherence to analytics best practices and data quality standards. Drive the development of the Business Intelligence Analysis Community of Practice.
Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in data analysis and utilising visualization tools.
- PowerBI and SQL experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and relevant technologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
- Prior experience in mentoring or coaching is advantageous.
