Experience

Minimum:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in a Company Secretarial capacity with exposure in the insurance and/or banking industry.
  • Experience gained in at least one of the following environments: banking, listings, insurance.

Ideal:

  • Experience as a Company Secretary in a large scale organisation.

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or Finance

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • A relevant post-graduate qualification in Law or Finance

Knowledge

Minimum:

  • Detailed knowledge of the Long-Term Insurance Act and Companies Act.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Corporate Governance, administration and finance principles.
  • Relationship building techniques.


Ideal:

  • Document Control.
  • Compliance and Risk Management.
