About The Role

Do you have an eye for detail, a passion for design, and the ability to turn floor plans into welcoming, functional spaces? If you love seeing your ideas come to life in the real world, this role is for you.

We’re looking for a Layout Design Specialist to help shape the look, feel, and functionality of our branches – from floor layouts to signage, in-branch communication, and everything in between.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing floor layouts for new and upgraded branches, including offsite cash devices.
  • Creating practical, efficient design solutions that balance cost, quality, and functionality.
  • Driving value engineering by solving design challenges creatively and smartly.
  • Coordinating signage – artwork, decals, internal and external signage -  from concept to installation.
  • Producing accurate construction drawings and detailed drawing packs, issued on time.
  • Planning and conducting site surveys, ensuring all measurements are spot-on.
  • Drafting and reviewing branch layout specifications for interior and exterior design elements.
  • Working closely with suppliers, contractors, landlords, and tenant coordinators.
  • Continuously improving drafting processes to reduce design and turnaround time.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years’ experience in architectural design and construction.
  • Hands-on experience using Revit for layout design and construction drawings.
  • A solid understanding of building methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and commercial thinking skills.
  • Confidence coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing timelines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Project management capability (methodology-specific experience is a plus).

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Draughting or Architectural Technology
