Lead: Internal Auditor

Purpose Statement

• To conduct under the direction of the Audit Manager: Personal Bank internal audits to add value to the organisation
• To ensure the requirements of the Internal Audit Charter and the business are met and are in line with the International Internal Audit Standards.
   

Experience

Min:

• Minimum of 3 years in a risk based auditing environment
• Minimum of 3 years in Data Analytics and CAATS

Qualifications (Minimum)

Grade 12 National Certificate/ Vocational

A relevant tertiary qualification

CA(SA) or CIA

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

Knowledge

Min:
Knowledge of:

• GAAP and GAAS
• Proficiency in accounting principles and techniques in working with financial reports
• Business products, processes, policies and systems
• Internal Auditing procedures and standards
• Management principles to recognise and evaluate the materiality and significance of deviations from good business practice
• The fundamentals of accounting, economics, commercial law, taxation, finance, quantitative methods and information technology
