Payroll Officer (Fixed Term Contract)

Purpose Statement

  • To ensure the timeous and accurate administration of salaries and other remunerations benefits of Capitec Bank employees.

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Finance

Experience

Minimum:

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in SAGE People 300 

 

Ideal:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar environment 

Knowledge

Minimum:

  • SAGE People 300 Payroll System
  • General HR knowledge (e.g. UIF, Statutory regulations, provident fund)
  • Payroll administration

 

Ideal:

  • Knowledge of:
    • ESS (employee self-service) and InfoSlips

  • Planning, organising and coordination skills
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
