About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our data team at Capitec. To support the Product Head in producing the best product; optimising the product through directing the building and development of the product throughout its life cycle. The Product Manager will work closely with product delivery teams across various business areas such as Connect, Live Better, and Ecosystems. This position requires a strong data background and the ability to understand and manage the data lifecycle, software systems, and product roadmaps.

Our Ideal Candidate

• At least 5 years’ management experience; senior level product development or product manager/owner 
• 3+ years’ experience managing, developing and delivering a product previously.
• Working at tactical and operational levels and providing input into product strategy and business planning.
• Integrating business and technical product segments to achieve objectives, delivery and targets.  
• Career experience to include some time in one or more technical roles.
• Extensive experience in data lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in data management and analysis tools and technologies.
• Experience with revenue recognition and assurance processes.
• Proven track record in managing data products and creating product roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of data flows and best practices in data tooling and technology.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage a team of 5-6 people.
