Solutions Business Analyst: Credit Evolution

Purpose Statement

  • To analyse and understand the organisation’s business models, processes and systems and needs in the Retail Credit space in order to help the business address changes through technology and operational solutions 

Experience

Minimum:

  • 3+ years’ relevant software development experience as a Business Analyst
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in Enterprise Analysis, business process definition and analysis
  • Good communicator with proven experience in internal and external stakeholder management
  • Affinity for data structures and problem solving
  • Must have worked in an agile environment

 

Ideal:

  • 5+ years’ relevant software development experience as a Business Analyst 
  • Proven track record of leading teams, influencing key stakeholders and enabling IT strategy development and implementation
  • Re-engineering/process improvement experience
  • Exposure to Microsoft Technologies (SQL Server, .Net framework, C#) and Project Management
  • Experience in the Banking and/or Financial services industry
  • Knowledge of secured and unsecured Credit products and the credit life cyc

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Certification in Business Analysis

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Information Technology

Knowledge

Must have detailed knowledge of: 

  • IT Software Development Life Cycle 

  • Business analysis and design 

  • Agile methodologies and processes  

  • UML and business process modelling (BPM) 

  • Standards and governance 

 

Ideally have detailed knowledge of: 

  • Financial/Banking Systems 

  • The Credit lifecycle
