About the role

The CSI Specialist will enhance the strategic and operational efficiency of the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) department by driving integrated planning, project management, data-driven reporting, and impactful communication. This individual will orchestrate all deliverables across diverse streams, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and measurable impact.

Key Performance areas:

Lead contribution and responsibilities

  • CSI Project and Stakeholder Management
  • Design Project plans for the successful implementation of, CSI programs and projects
  • Responsible for the implementation of project plans by coordinating teams nationally
  • Continuous improvement of programs through evaluation and review Ensure that internal and external communication to relevant stakeholders is implemented
  • Conduct regular site visits to beneficiaries Monitor, evaluate and provide feedback on CSI Stakeholder programs and projects
  • Develop and implement integrated project management frameworks to streamline CSI initiatives
  • Ensure timely execution of programmes and maintain alignment with strategic objectives
  • Coordinate efforts across internal teams, volunteers, and strategic partners for seamless delivery of initiatives.

Function/role specific:

 

  • Design and maintain data management systems to track key performance indicators and outcomes.
  • Analyse data to generate actionable insights for reporting and continuous improvement. Produce detailed, high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting the impact and achievements of CSI programmes.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc stakeholder feedback reports as required to ensure accurate reporting and monitoring of projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a real-time dashboard that reflects all CSI initiatives.
  • Produce detailed, high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting the impact and achievements of CSI and Community Financial Education programs
  • Ensure the dashboard is userfriendly and accessible to relevant stakeholders

Our ideal candidate has:

Min:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in CSI or community development 
  • At least 5 years’ experience related to the management of delivery workflow (experience in the coordination of resources, project and tasks in a CSI or community development environment)
  • Experience in project implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Proven experience in data management and reporting

Ideal:

  • Experience in CSI project and partner due diligence including governance, interpretation of financial statements, risk identification and mitigation
  • Experience in maintaining a central CSI knowledge and volunteer engagement hub/platform using technology, e.g. Sharepoint
  • Understanding of the Amended Financial Services Sector Code in terms of section 9 (1) of the Broad - Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, (Act no. 53 of 2003) as amended by the B-BBEE Act 46 of 2013

Qualifications

Min:

  • A relevant degree in Bachelor's Degree in Social Science or Project Management


Ideal:

  • Agile delivery and Project management principles and processes
  • Tools (Jira, Confluence, Write,  etc.)
