Purpose Statement
- Please note that this is a temporary position: Fixed-term contract (6 months).
- To provide the necessary identity and access management administration across all business applications and technology platforms with a keen focus on Microsoft Active Directory.
- To provide the users in the organisation with the correct logical access capability in line with their job role.
- To configure key infrastructure components on an operational level.
- Key performance areas: User Life Cycle Management; Access Management; Password Management; Identity Governance; and User Access support services.
- Required to liaise with various external service providers as well as internal users and business units.
- Will be required to work standby and overtime applicable (must be contactable during standby and provide support remotely).
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- Certification in Information Technology
Experience and Knowledge
Minimum:
- 2 years' experience in general administration OR 1 year's experience in an IT support environment
- General understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and processes
- Client service orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ideal:
- 2+ years’ experience in general administration OR 1+ years' experience in an IT support environment
- 2+ years’ experience in end user access administration
- Experience in working with Microsoft Active Directory (1+ years' experience in Active Directory access administration)
- Proficiency in User Access Administration / Access Security
- General understanding of Identity Management
- General understanding of the retail banking industry
- Relevant IT certification (e.g., Security+)
