Purpose Statement

 

  • Please note that this is a temporary position: Fixed-term contract (6 months).
  • To provide the necessary identity and access management administration across all business applications and technology platforms with a keen focus on Microsoft Active Directory.
  • To provide the users in the organisation with the correct logical access capability in line with their job role.
  • To configure key infrastructure components on an operational level.
  • Key performance areas: User Life Cycle Management; Access Management; Password Management; Identity Governance; and User Access support services.
  • Required to liaise with various external service providers as well as internal users and business units.
  • Will be required to work standby and overtime applicable (must be contactable during standby and provide support remotely).

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • Certification in Information Technology

Experience and Knowledge

Minimum: 

  • 2 years' experience in general administration OR 1 year's experience in an IT support environment
  • General understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and processes
  • Client service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)


Ideal:

  • 2+ years’ experience in general administration OR 1+ years' experience in an IT support environment
  • 2+ years’ experience in end user access administration
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Active Directory (1+ years' experience in Active Directory access administration)
  • Proficiency in User Access Administration / Access Security
  • General understanding of Identity Management
  • General understanding of the retail banking industry
  • Relevant IT certification (e.g., Security+)
